Let's take a look at how to fix the "operating system not found" error on Windows You need to check for two things in the BIOS.
Firstly, you need to ensure your machine recognizes your hard drive. Secondly, you need to make sure the drive on which you installed Windows is listed as the preferred boot drive. The method for entering the BIOS changes from manufacturer to manufacturer. Typically, you'll need to press Escape , Delete , or one of the Function keys during the boot-up process, before Windows loads. You should see an onscreen message advising you which is the correct key during the boot process.
The BIOS menu itself also varies between devices. Broadly speaking, you need to locate the Boot tab at the top of the screen. Within the Boot tab, highlight Hard Drive and press Enter. If everything in your BIOS menu looked fine, jump to step three.
If you didn't see the hard drive listed, go to step two. If your machine is not recognizing your hard drive, there are lots of possible causes.
For non-tech-savvy users, the only easy solution is to try resetting the entire BIOS menu to its default values. On some machines it's F9 , but it might be different on yours. Confirm your decision when prompted and restart your machine. If the operating system is still not found, you can stop reading this article.

That's where I realised I had the possibility to "enter boot menu" straight with F11, which takes me to a list where I'm invited to "please select a boot device". Double-clicking on my SSD listed there and there starts Windows.

I don't really understand on what it's booting since I do order the OS to boot on the proper disk. My first problem was the OS freezing for no reason, and it then evolved into this. And I guess I first need to solve the booting part before running diagnosis already bookmarked some of your posts and understand if this is soft or hardware-related. Sorry for sounding stupid, but these options don't show on my UEFI screen. Here there's no Boot configuration 'mode', only 'Boot Configuration' with the possibility to enable or disable the full screen logo display.
And then Boot option priorities. That's it. And no option regarding the Secure Boot either. I tried that just in case, but that option neither shows. But why it wouldn't offer the same options, I don't get. Then click the MSI Settings at the left and… a. Save and exit and try to boot. Error code: 0x It started Windows, I could use the computer a few minutes before programs froze again that's my initial problem and I had to force the power off. So no more "An operating system wasn't found", plus these little back and forth changes somehow solved the freezing problem.

The first one is the internal disk and the second one is a USB drive.

I have 4 partitions in my system. Now I am unable to opening my windows. Remove the Windows 10 bootable media and boot into Windows 10 as usual. Find out on which disk Windows lies in the method mentioned at the beginning of Part 1.
